Yes. All Index oils and lubricants meet pharmaceutical-grade standards and comply with FDA and EU requirements for indirect food/pharma equipment contact. They are NSF registered, non-toxic, and do not present contamination risks to products being manufactured. Full documentation and safety data sheets are provided.

Oil change intervals depend on machine usage, environmental conditions, and specific oil type. Most Index machines require oil changes annually or every 5,000 hours of operation, whichever comes first. We provide detailed maintenance schedules and can assess your specific needs. Regular oil analysis helps optimize change intervals.

Index offers multiple lubricant grades and types optimized for different applications: bearing oils for high-speed spindle bearings, gear oils for transmission systems, and specialty lubricants for pneumatic and hydraulic components. While many generic oils may technically function, we strongly recommend using Index formulated products to maintain equipment warranties and ensure optimal performance. Generic oils may have different viscosity profiles, additive packages, or pharmaceutical compliance certifications that could affect machine reliability or create contamination risks.

Oil quantities vary by machine model and reservoir size. The I-300 requires approximately 4-5 liters, while smaller models need 2-3 liters. We provide specific volume requirements in operation manuals. Pre-filled oil containers in standard sizes are available, ensuring you have exactly what you need without waste.

Yes. We offer bulk oil supplies in 20-liter drums, 200-liter containers, and custom quantities for high-volume users. Index oils should be stored in cool, dry conditions at temperatures between 5-25°C (41-77°F). Containers should be kept sealed and protected from moisture and contamination.
